Guido's Pizzeria & Restaurant
Consistently Excellent Food.

Every chance I get, I go to Guido's. Since relocating to South Florida, I found the pizzerias to be lacking in variety as far as toppings. In about 99% of the pizzerias, to get a specific topping, you usually have to order an entire pie. And even then, the kinds of toppings available are dismal.

Not at Guido's. There was this fantastic place in Great Neck, NY, that had all kinds of pizzas with toppings ranging from chicken marsala to lasagna pizza - IN SLICES! I thought I'd never see that again. But I did - at Guido's.

Aside from the incredible variety of pizza, his crust actually crunches - just like New York's! His chicken marsala pizza is amazing as is his baked ziti pizza and meat lover's pizza. And they come in giantic rectangles. Actually, they're enough for two people, but they're so delicious, sharing is usually out of the question. And by the way, you must try his chicken parmigiana sub (hero). Enormous, super cheezy, and again, the bread is crunchy.

In addition to finger food, his entrees are second to none - the kind of quality you would expect from a great chef and Guido, a culinary school graduate. You have to try Guido's Chicken Francese ($15.95) is as good as any Francese dish you would get in a high-priced restaurant that sells for $23. Oh, his pasta fagiole is delicious and thick and filled with beans and pasta. The best I've ever had!

You can either sit on the pizzeria side or Guido's more romantic dining room area. Either way, you get the same excellent service and cuisine that is consistently good. I give Guido's four chef's hats!

Price Range: Appetizers range from $1.95 (cup of soup) to clams oreganata ($14.95). Dishes range from $10.95 to $19.95. All subs are $7.95 (great price)
